Me and My Thoughts!!

Polished mind and positive thinking has a huge impact on our life. We mostly tend to understand the little language around us inappropriately and our thought process is lead in a wrong direction.

Intimacy need not be only touching n rubbing against bodies, it’s between souls. Relationships are not only when they are in a personal relationship, it can be between a people with whom you are conversing right now.

In the process of writing this small piece, conveying my ideas we are in a relationship of a writer and reader, here I’m willing to involve you in my thought process. You are reading my thoughts and somewhere we have created a relationship of some sort.

When we come across the words like boyfriend, girlfriend, relationship, intimacy we need to assume it in a broad sense unless taking it in a intense mind, these words indicating relationship create some sort of emotional bonding between the people which need not be physical.

When I want to live my life by my own!!

Being independent, self reliable and strong!!!

It takes a lot to be self sustaining and courageous. Every finger will be pointed at you when you speak your heart out. You find more criticisms than encouragement. But to live a happy life at your own terms takes a lot of determination.

One needs to be self motivated to live the life of independence. Your thoughts and life style need anything.. Is that what I am doing will yield me satisfaction? You yourself to be positive and you should always question self before you gonna do need to be satisfied first at your acts and virtues than others around you.

Always carry a positive vibration within you.

TODAY’S CLIMATE.. ITS KILLING!! I LOVE IT..

A cool morning makes you awaken late and lazy but if you wake up at your early time it will keep you fresh energetic and refreshed throughout the day.

Due to the Vardah tropical storm at Tamil Nadu and Andra Pradesh we can also feel the outcome of it with the cool weather with misty and dim morning as it is complimented by the winter season. This weather with drizzling rain fall is reminding me of the rainy days of June and July where the climate makes you more lazy and food addicted. The hot sun has disappeared from the sight for two days and I could not even find him at least once.

I love this endure as there is no irritation of tiredness to mind and body, and also it is giving me an opportunity to pen down my thoughts.

COLORS ARE BEAUTIFUL

Colors make us happy and make nature look simply great. Nature not only gives the living creatures food to survive but also a peace of mind to live. There are number of trees, flowers, plants and animals in nature with different colors representing the uniqueness of the nature. 

Flowers especially in the nature are mesmerising to the eyes. They can feed a heart broken with so much love and courage. There can be 'few' who may hate the beauty of nature.

Flowers symbolize calmness, love, care and happiness. Every person in this world would like to be like flower which bloom with all its energy and positivity. Our tradition gives so much importance to flowers, on every occasions, In our Indian society they makes everything beautiful. It refreshes the mind and gives happiness to the soul. 

My love towards ICE CREAM

Ice cream is a food which I am fond of eating. Ice cream derived from earlier iced cream, is a sweetened frozen food typically eaten as a snack or dessert. It is usually made from dairy products, such as milk and cream, and often combined with fruits or other ingredients and flavors. Every person in this world will have a thing which they love the most.  People are fond of items like ice cream, sweets, fruits, Chinese food, etc.

To tell about one among my favourite food, I love it most, I have it at least once in 15 days and it’s my ice-cream. I love ice-cream a lot. Sometimes I even spend lots of money or sometimes I waste time by travelling just to have an ice-cream. If my friend asks what treat I shall give, the first thing I tell is ice-cream. Ice-cream has become as a part of my life.

By having more ice-cream my health usually spoils but I still have it because love ice creams a lot.

MISTAKE

Mistakes are common. Everyone commits mistake. 
We as human being commit mistake which either  hurt others or  hurt ourselves.
Mistakes are forgiven when they are done unintentionally. But sometimes we commit them intentionally!!!!

Sometimes we do something which in-turn becomes a fault and hurts the other person as their opinion might be different, sometimes they are unintentional. Every human being should be careful with regards to their words and actions as we are social beings.

It's necessary that we need to learn from our mistakes so that we over come them 
and commit some new ;-) .

DREAM

Abdul Kalam said to have anything in reality we should dream. Every person will have good dreams but it is very difficult to achieve. Dream can be said as a new planet because it has an unconditional border. It means a person can dream to any extent. People become doctors, lawyers, politicians in dreams and some are eternal. 

According to me dream is something where we can enjoy our life. On the other hand dreams also are scary. Some people who believe in evils and think about them will also get bad scary dreams. People even some time wake up at night and shout because of bad dreams.

Dreaming is not bad but hard work is needed to achieve that dream. To tell about my dream I have a dream of becoming a HR manager where I will get opportunity to interact, recruit, train and understand  people. So I am working hard on it, in support to it I will be opting HR as my specialization subject.

To conclude I would like to tell that dreaming is not bad in support there is also a need for hard work to catch them. Each and every person should dream big.

LIFE AS A CYCLE

LOVE: MY OPINION

When we human being hear the word love, we think the love of a boy and girl or man and women. People think love is only restricted towards couple. But in real world love is not to that extent, it has a wider scope, it includes love between friends, siblings, parent and siblings.

Love is unconditional because different people at different time express their love differently. Some people are even ready to give their life to help a person whom they love. According to me the feeling of heart will be within the hearts. We can tell that if people love others from heart it’s a true love because many people love others just to say that they love others it may be fake love.

Love is not only between human beings. Even animals birds love each other and they also love human beings. Many people keep animals as pet, the main reason behind this is they love each other.

So to conclude i would like to tell that the scope of love is wide and unconditional. We should feel open to tell others when we love them and suppose we love others we should keep them happy.

CRAZY LIFE

Life is crazy, in life people run behind everything. money, happiness, health, sociability etc. Life seems to be simple but we make it complicated by so many expectations. But ‘the most important thing is to be happy and enjoy life’ says Audrey Hepburn. To be happy we should live in the present moment and take whatever comes to our way as a challenge. It is not to be crazy behind anything, life is to be creating you and being happy.

The moment we live in make the life worth living. We not only should be happy but we should always spread happiness around us, we should make all the faces around us happy. But we can know that ‘the truth is you don't know what is going to happen tomorrow. Life is a crazy ride, and nothing is guaranteed’ in the words of Eminem. We should always try to live in our limits and enjoy life to the fullest.

GLANCE ON THE ‘SEVEN DAYS’ OF MY LIFE

DAY 1

My experiment on these seven days was to update my blog and to improve my communication skills like writing and speaking in proper English. I had a dream of writing articles and poems. And always I used to just dream and never used to write anything. On these days I seriously thought of updating my blog, even while speaking I concentrated on the language which I used to speak and I started to speak in English always.

DAY 2

On the second day and I made some free time specially to update my blog. I thought so much and started to look at the pictures which I clicked recently. A thought ran into my mind. “Why don’t I write something on the pictures I have clicked recently?”

I even started to read the newspaper seriously so that I can strengthen my English.

DAY 3

Third day of my experiment, I wrote two articles in my blog in a word document that is Birds Paradise and Colourful Dung Beetle. Both the pictures used in the blog are clicked by me at my home when I was roaming around in my garden. To write the blog I even googled some articles and quotes from the internet and I could seriously gain some important knowledge regarding writing skills.

DAY 4

Today I tried to listen to people speaking as it is also an effective communication skill. I tried writing some more articles so I thought the topic Ettin 2015. I recalled all the memories of Ettin and also approached seniors to know the background of Ettin so that can give a clear picture about the Ettin college fest. This seven day experiment also helped me to use my brain to the fullest in thinking seriously.

DAY 5

It was the fifth day of my experiment on myself for self-improvement and I felt as though I have gained and improved my knowledge and skills. Now writing blog I felt really interesting only the problem was I could not get the topics. Then I thought about my personal experience and I found Colgate was only product which I was using from my childhood and not changed the brand so I wrote on the topic Brand Loyalty.

DAY 6

I shared my experiment idea with my friend and she suggested me to improve my communication skills by watching English movies having subtitles. I had some movies given by our Mosh sir, I watched Mummamiya, Bend- it- like Beckham and I have Pygmalion which I'll be watching in future days to come so that my pronunciation of English will be polished. Not only 3 movies but I would watch still more movies so that I'll polish my English well.

DAY 7

As I stay in PG room I found some magazines there of my PG mates and I choose 'Outlook' (August 2014 issue). I started to read one article, as I was reading I could not understand the meaning of some words and pronunciation of some other, so I referred the pocket dictionary of Oxford to understand the meaning of the difficult words and also tried to know the pronunciation of the words which were new to me.

While writing the blogs, I had almost written the ten blog articles till date and as the physical appearance of blog is also important so I change the theme of blog page once in a while so it looks different and creative whenever someone opens up my blog to read. 

THE ONE PERSON FROM WHOM I LEARNT THE MOST

Yes!! Here I have got an opportunity to speak about my first teacher, the only ideal person in my life, a best forgiver, and the backbone of my life. I am talking about my mother. She was the only who loves me without any expectations and boundaries, bears all my irritation and always been my support. Whatever may be the situation she would correct me if I am wrong and then supports me for whatever I wish to be. She was always been my role model. It can be from wrapping the saari till cooking the food I always admire to be like her. According to me she is the person who always takes the right and the best decisions, a best leader. My mother would always stand firm in her decisions and words. She would always finish her work on time. She was the only first teacher of mine who was there to help me study when I was a kid and even now if in necessary if I ask her any help regarding studies she would never refuse.

My mother is not less than a god to me. If in difficulties when I remember Mother Marry and Jesus Christ I would also remember my mother and then I feel everything easy to be worked out. I would find a best friend in my mother. She is very close to me and we share all the best and worst experiences of our life. If in the hard times of my life she is the first person to approach and sought help.

AJEKAR.. MY NATIVE.. MY FAVORITE PLACE..

         Ajekar is the sign of developing India, I could sense the growth of Indian economy by just looking at into my native.. Once upon it was just a village surrounded by nuxulaite a forest, area very interior.

Developmental signs likes flats, petrol pump, verity of shops.

My place has a beautiful history.

It has temple mosque and church situated around the distance of 0.5 km each. And thus it shows a religious harmony and feeling of brotherhood.

U may find it in Google but as I have lived here since 1994 I feel I know it a better..

It's a rural place covered by a heavy forest and wild animals like tiger Deers, Fox, Pigs,the beautiful Peacock, Parrots, Mina, Pigeon, Eagle verity of Snakes are seen a much in Ajekar..

Here we get a good rainfall as it has a dense forest area around.

Regional language spoken here is Tulu but people even speak Kannada, Urdu, Byari, Konkani, Malyalam English.

WONDERFUL EYES

Wonderful eyes reflects our visual ability, how we look at things around us i.e., nature which includes plants, animals, birds and all the beautiful creations of god. It is not only of looking and enjoying but we have the duty to protect and conserve our nature. Time spent in nature is so precious, it cannot be earned back, and only the memories will remain with us. We can learn so many things from nature. Nature has provided man with different creatures carrying the extreme level of uniqueness.

God gave me my vision; you can’t see what I see. To feel the way I feel you need to look through my eyes and See what I See. I guess it’d had no sense if we all had the same vision. We may look at the nature around us with different visions but our ultimate goal should be to protect our nature. Actual meaning of nature lies in the villages. Nature is the home for all big organisms and small creatures. In the past villages were the usual forms of community for societies that practice substinance agriculture. Now the villages are the real face of India. In villages of India we can actually see the reality of the nature which is our heritage.

To conclude, the nature around us is so beautiful that rejoices our eyes and makes our mind fresh. Here we have to protect heritage of our villages which includes nature plants and animals. We need to have a unique vision and bring a positive difference to our society.

Ek Pal To Ab Hamein JEENE DO!!!

    The Maestro, the student association of marketing of our college every year conducts various competitions to the students of the Institute especially to the 1^st years. Various competitions like short movie, brand war, etc. are conducted every year to show the students their creativity and exhibit their talents.

   Jeene Do is a short movie shoot by my class that is 1^st MBA “B” sec, JKSHIM, Nitte. Other two sections of 1^st year also shoot the movies A Sec ‘Ummed’ and C Sec ‘Ehesas’. Jeene Do movie is dedicated to the girls and women who are trapped in prostitution. It is the story of the girls or women who are trapped in the prostitution, how do they get in to prostitution. There what are the situations, problems faced by them. The environment inside the prostitution racket is highlighted in the movie.

   A girl is not only got into prostitution with her own will and consent. Most of the times in the prostitution girls are brought in by kidnapping, by fooling and trapping. When a girl is into prostitution we do not know what are her feelings and emotions, what does she feels. People around her will only comment at her.

   In this short movie at the end NGO comes as the ‘Light of Life’ to all the girls, here we show how the NGO helps all the girls who were trapped by prostitution racket are brought out and given a good job and helps to live their life happily.

     So as a human being stop making gender discrimination. Think girls as our sisters and love and respect them as same as we do with our mother and sister. Our government is also working hard to stop rape cases and prostitution, let’s all join hands and stop rapes and make girl as a free bird in the society. As the citizens of India we should take the responsibility of making India a safe and ever flourishing nation and fulfill the dream of Gandhiji that any girl must be able to walk  fearlessly at night 12 O’clock on the streets of our county. 

HOW COLGATE BECAME PART OF MY LIFE!!!

Why do I have made this sentence..??

Yes I am talking about the way how I became brand loyal to Colgate. 

Brand loyalty is the tendency of some consumers to continue buying the same brand of goods rather than competing brands. Consumers become committed to a single brand and make repeated purchases over time. Loyal customers will consistently purchase products from their preferred brands, regardless of convenience or price.

I do not like to prefer any other brands when it comes to toothpaste. I like to use the Colgate strong teeth or cavity protection toothpaste. But if it's not available I may be compromised to use any other Colgate flavor. But if I don't get Colgate product in the shop I don't think twice. I just come back or I will go to any other shops in finding of Colgate toothpaste. Now if in any situation where I’m not able to get Colgate I really miss the taste and the freshness given by Colgate toothpaste. Soon after I get back I do brush my teeth with Colgate again to get that satisfaction.

To conclude, every market should not only focus on marketing their product but they should also build loyal customers. The main thing in every business is customer, and marketer need to keep in mind that one’s a customer is lost, he is lost forever. So marketer need to concentrate on customer needs and make customer as a loyal customer. So every business depends on how loyal customers are towards a particular brand or product.

JASMINE.. THE MALLIGE OF SOUTH CANARA

A flower of freshness, a colour of peace, a flower of simplicity… it is the Mallige of South Canara. It defines the morning beauty of nature with its white color and fragrance of freshness. Jasmine is mostly grown in southern part of India and is sold throughout the country and also exported to other countries. There are different kinds of mallige flowers. Namely Jaji Mallige, Kakada Mallige, Kasturi Mallige, Gundu Mallige etc.

Jasmine is grown in my home. It's a small source of income for my family. It's a Full year flower, grown in all seasons.  But in summer the flowers will be more.It needs a hot climate, as it is grown more in summer. Even it needs watering. Flowers are plucked from plants in the morning then are tied in tread. Morning the flowers will be small. As the sun raises and hot sun comes, the flowers will grow long.

The flowers are used for decorating, used to make perfumes, etc. It's more demanded during the marriage season. It's an important flower used in catholic marriages in India to decorate the bride.

          I would like to tell that jasmine is not just a flower it brings freshness through its good smell as well as it helps to increase the beauty of different occasions. Jasmine also helps many people as the main source of income. So jasmine serves for hunger of different people in villages and a beauty of various occasions.

ETTIN 2015.. MY EXPERIENCE AND MY OPINION !!!

ETTIN is a national level management fest organized every year by Justice K. S. Hegde Institute of Management, Nitte on 17th and 18th of October 2015 and it has been part of the Institute trading since1999. The program is conceptualized, organized and managed by the students of our college. It is a confluence of students from several management institutes throughout the country on a single forum.

ETTIN 2015 embraces the theme of innovation and sustainability. All the events have been designed to generate ideas in alternative practices to create a better world for the future generations. The fest was very interesting and enthusiastic. No one of the participants got leisure time to waste upon. They were kept busy with so many management and social activities.

Every year events were designed based on different specialization like for marketing a separate event, for finance separate event, etc. but this year all specialization were mixed in various events. The different events of ETTIN are Luminous, Ignite, Cogent, Legas and Canvas. Canvass is a communication event, Ignite is an Entrepreneurial game, Luminous is social innovation, Legas is all about artificating our ideas and Cogent is an analytical game. In this fest various groups were formed like infrastructure, event, reception, sponsorship, cultural etc. I was in the cultural committee of our institute that is Sr’jana.

As I am a member of our Sr’jana cultural committee of our institute, I had participated in group song. My team was led by Roystan My cultural committee had given variety of cultural events like MC was done by Rishith, Sneha, Joylene and Aysha, Swathi and team performed a welcome dance, retro dance by Vandya and Karthik, Bharatanatyam by Pallavi and Ramyashree, Mono act was performed by Venkatesh and Jagath and, even Joanna and team showed their talent through dancing. Anisha, Divya and Swathi had also sung remix song for all of us.

So I would like to tell that ETTIN is not just a competition for competitors to learn, even I got many things to learn as well as I got an opportunity to exhibit my hidden talents. So this fest gave a good opportunity to all my student friends to learn many things and to exhibit my talents. 

ON THE WAY TO HOME I GOT 1000 RUPEES NOTE!!!

Last Saturday evening when I was walking back home from the Institute, I was walking horridly and was literally running. On the way I found 1000 rupees note. I thought as it is someone else's money and not to grab it. Later I thought instead of someone else picking it up and misusing, I may be the right person to pick it and use it in a proper way. 

First I thought of buying clothes or necessary things for me. Then I thought of going out with my friends. Then I thought of giving the money to some needy who is really in need of money. All the thoughts were running in my mind and then I became restless. My instinct was not agreeing me to spend the money for shopping or enjoying with friends. But my desire for shopping and enjoying was also very high. There was a clash my mind and instinct.

As the money which I was holding in my hands was not belonging to me so I thought it was against the moral values to use someone else’s money. Then I was thinking how to use that money effectively. Here I found the 4 kids by the side of the road playing in a guava tree and plucking the fruit and eating. I felt those were hungry and asked them, they told they were hungry. So I took them to nearby small hotel and purchased healthy meal for them. I could sense the happiness from their satisfaction.

          But I could spend only 250 for the kids. I had Rs. 750 with me then. Then in the bus stand I found a beggar who was really unable to work and earn his daily living. I gave him 300 bucks. Then Rs. 450 was remaining, I gave it to the Samvedana Committee of our Institute, which is working hard for the betterment of the society around our institute and helping poor and needy.
